Like the disciples we don't alway feel like walking up a high mountain, but Jesus so full of Grace wants us to follow him. It won't be easy, but it will be worth it because it leads to God's presence.

Have we grown to expect the negative. Jesus proclaimed the "Good News" right now - not in the future. We are already living the everlasting life with a transition at some point. As Christians we should be celebrating the ultimate AH-HA of Jesus.

In the season of Epiphany or AHA moments we find we always have another step to take to keep moving forward in our walk with God. We should never be content or complacent. We are never called to quit, but to see what may be ahead and take that next step forward.

Authority of a new king can cause people to react in different ways. In order to move forward in your Christian walk what steps are you willing to take? Are you willing to submit to the authority of God or justify your inactions while becoming stagnant in you walk.

Is Jesus missing in the Christmas Exhale? Like Mary and Joseph we need to search for Jesus in the Church. Take a step forward in faith development, and try what God is calling us to do. Find a way to embrace Faith, Hope and Love, with activity and productivity going into the new year.

Who are we going to take with us on the journey to prepare us for the destination? By God's Grace we are chosen long before we choose God. Advent is just the beginning. Anyone can go along. Who will we invite to go on the journey with us? Be ready for those who will seek out the manager.

As we sit in our comfortable seats in the sanctuary we must never forget that we are not at a place that has perfect justice in the world. We are called by Jesus to make it right. We are more than just one small church. We make up the United Methodists and together we can pool our resources so there is a little more justice and hope in a world that has much injustice. We are called to help in the global mission along with other churches, and we can try to make it right.

Before all the Christmas hype the waiting was for a new way of life. The destination was Jesus, our rescuer. It is the job of the Church to keep us focused on our destination. Don't get distracted from where hope lives by the depression, anxiety, and despair of the season. The joy is being rescued.

We can treat time as an opportunity or a burden. If we prioritize time, focus on relationships, and let relationships guide our tasks we can go to bed with a full heart.

We are so blessed to have the wealth that we have. Every person in our Church today is wealthier than 98 percent of the world, so we need to tithe and give back to God out of gratitude for his blessings.
